The amazing airport is situated very close to the capital Puerto Del Rosario and only approximately 10 minutes form the resort of caleta de fuste and approximately 35 minutes from the amazing Corralejo. This modern and amazing airport is quite impressive in design. Fuerteventura airport is located next to the sea giving a great impression when you actually step out of the plane. The airport was opened officially in 1969.The first plane to touch down on the new runway was an Iberia Fokker F27.
